Senior 3D Look Development Artist

This position plays a crucial part in shaping the visual identity of large-scale projects.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and refining materials, shaders, textures, and environments to achieve photorealistic and cinematic results.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing, refining, and maintaining materials, shaders, textures, and environments to achieve photorealistic and cinematic results.
  • Defining and implementing look development standards across large-scale environments, ensuring optimized and efficient asset workflows.
  • Collaborating with FX, animation, and other teams to maintain consistency and quality across productions.
  • Troubleshooting and optimizing scenes for performance in both offline and real-time rendering pipelines.
  • Ensuring the highest level of detail and artistic quality, maintaining alignment with the project's creative vision.

Required skills and qualifications include:

  • 6–7 years of professional experience in look development, shading, set building, and rendering.
  • Expertise in V-Ray, Octane, Cinema 4D, and Unreal Engine 5+ (with strong understanding of path tracing and optimization).
  • Strong eye for set composition, color theory, and aesthetics with proven ability to achieve photoreal output.
  • Proficient in DCC tools such as Unreal Engine, Cinema 4D, Maya, and Substance.
  • Ability to work closely with cross-disciplinary teams in a fast-paced production environment.
