As a key player in our Structured Trading team, you will work closely with trading, sales and structuring functions dealing primarily with EMEA and US regions.

  • You will be responsible for working in close tandem with global trading desks facing dynamic markets and aggressive deadlines.
  • Gaining knowledge of the relevant global financial products and models developed by business is essential.
  • Answering client requests, which range from data requests to designing and implementing bespoke models, requires strong analytical skills.
  • Performing trade modelling, strategy selection, and performance analysis is crucial to drive business growth.
  • Building-up on infrastructure to implement new models as well as maintaining the existing infrastructure is key to delivering high-quality results.
  • Working closely with sales, traders and structurers to enable new trades to be executed, post trade analysis, position keeping requires effective collaboration.
  • Converting financial market knowledge into understandable investment opinions and making relative value recommendations demands strong commercial acumen.
  • Remaining current on market and commercial developments to help frame investment strategies is vital for success.
  • Helping senior management to prepare pitches for internal Investment committees, management packs requires excellent communication skills.

This role requires a strong combination of analytical and problem-solving skills, a commercial mentality with an entrepreneurial bias, a willingness to learn and an obsession with detail.

Strong written and oral communication skills, the ability to assess information and make timely recommendations, and collaboration internally across teams within Global Markets and across divisions are also essential.
