Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing designs in adherence to industry standards.
  • Leading a drainage team and effectively managing project deliveries.
  • Providing proactive project leadership, taking independent initiatives to drive project deliveries.
  • Collaborating with lead regions and the GEC team, fostering open discussions and collaborations.
  • Demonstrating technical prowess as an independent problem solver.
  • Enhancing the team's capabilities to attract new business opportunities and ensure quality in processes, training, and checklists.
  • Sharing knowledge and facilitating knowledge transfer within the wider team, implementing industry best practices in project deliveries.


Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Extensive experience of at least 6+ years in developing sustainable drainage schemes for major infrastructure projects in various land usage patterns.
  • Experience in design management and project management activities, with a proven track record of successfully delivering drainage projects in the UK region.
  • Recognition in the field and with clients, demonstrating the ability to manage project deliveries independently from concept to construction stages.
  • Knowledge and application of relevant British Standards, awareness of construction in the drainage field, and the latest technologies, equipment, and risk assessment and mitigative measures.
  • Proficiency in relevant design software applications, BIM software like Civil 3D and AutoCAD, and strong communication and mentoring skills to manage clients and project teams effectively.
  • A Civil Engineering Graduate with a Post-Graduation degree (desirable) in Water Resources/Environmental Engineering.
