Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Medical Coder to join our team. As a Medical Coder, you will be responsible for converting medical reports from healthcare providers into alphanumeric codes. This involves analyzing diagnoses, procedures, prescriptions, and conditions, and assigning the appropriate codes using coding systems such as ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS.

You will also work with claims to ensure they are complete, accurate, and properly coded before submission. Additionally, you will be responsible for ensuring all medical records are coded correctly and documented in compliance with regulatory guidelines and policies.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with various coding software systems to enter and track codes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. You will also be required to stay up-to-date on coding rules, regulations, and industry best practices to ensure compliance with healthcare laws.
