
Business Development Specialist

Rostrum Education is seeking a dynamic Business Development Specialist to drive business expansion and strategic partnerships across India, UAE, and Hong Kong.
The ideal candidate will be proactive, highly communicative, and focused on increasing revenue streams through strategic partnerships. A key responsibility of this role is to build and execute strategic collaborations with international schools, test prep providers, and university admissions teams.
- Identify and develop relationships with key decision-makers in the education sector and beyond.
- Conduct market research to identify growth opportunities in different regions.
- Represent Rostrum Education at conferences, seminars, and networking events to establish and grow relationships.
A successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree from a reputable university, preferably in Business, Marketing, or a related field, and 2-5 years of experience in business development, sales, or partnerships. Strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to build and manage multiple partnerships simultaneously, proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools, and understanding of university admissions, counseling services, and student support programs are essential.
Key qualifications include self-motivation, goal-oriented behavior, and ability to work independently. The candidate should also be willing to travel for business expansion and client meetings. A deep understanding of the industry and its trends is also required.
