We're seeking an exceptional Chief Technology Strategist to lead our technological vision and drive impactful change. As a key member of our executive leadership team, you'll play a crucial role in guiding our technological strategy and expansion plans.

Key Responsibilities

  • Technology Leadership: Oversee Proximity's AI/ML solutions, performance engineering, and data engineering verticals.
  • Team Leadership and Development: Lead and mentor a 50+ remote engineering team, leveraging AI/ML tools to enhance efficiency and continuously upskill the team.
  • System Scalability & Architecture: Oversee the development of robust backend systems and scalable platforms, ensuring the team adopts best practices in distributed systems, microservices, and DevOps.
  • Client-Facing Role: Engage with client CTOs and senior leadership in a consultative capacity, positioning Proximity as a trusted technology partner.

Requirements

  • Experience: 10+ years in technology roles, with at least 5 years in senior leadership positions, ideally within high-growth companies or startups.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong background in AI/ML solutions, backend technologies (Node.js, Go, Java), and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
  • Leadership & Mentorship: Proven ability to lead and mentor large, diverse teams, fostering a culture of continuous learning and excellence.
