Senior Settlement Analyst

Job Description:

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Settlement Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our settlement function, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of daily settlements and funding. This includes adherence to internal control policies and procedures, trade capture processes, and resolution of exceptions.

You will research and resolve problems relating to specific P&S transactions, maintain proper daily workflow documentation evidence for regulatory and compliance purposes, and satisfy documentation processes to ensure files are easily found and understood.

Daily comparison of open trade breaks and ensuring items are tracked and actioned is also a critical responsibility. Reconciliation of securities out-of-balance, including processing of adjusting entries, and daily interaction with external clients on trade capture-related queries are additional tasks you will perform.

Other duties include match trades with broker-dealer counterparts, monitor RTTM/GSCC (Advisories, exceptions, mismatches, and reversals), and monitoring of Obligation Warehouse. You will also ensure matching of all Euroclear settlement items and monitor local market instruction and matching on international trades.

Your expertise in resolving CNS exceptions and blotter issues (money & positions) and working with settlements teams to monitor and resolve trade breaks and fails will be invaluable to our organization.

Functional & Technical Skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree in B. Com /BBM or Master's Degree in M. Com/MBA/PGDM
  • 2 to 4 years of experience in Settlements and OTC derivatives
  • Basic knowledge of finance, trade life cycle, investment banking, and derivatives
