Supply Chain Coordinator

A highly organized and detail-oriented Supply Chain Coordinator is required to oversee the receipt, storage, and distribution of supplies at our facility.

About the Role

The ideal candidate should have experience in managing inventory, ensuring stock accuracy, and maintaining high standards of hygiene.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Receipt and Storage

Check and receive supplies, raw materials, beverages, groceries, and cleaning items. Verify quantity, quality, and condition against purchase orders. Reject damaged or expired goods.

Inventory Management

Arrange and store items systematically, both perishable and non-perishable. Follow FIFO and FEFO for efficient stock rotation. Maintain proper temperature control for chilled and frozen items. Prevent wastage, pilferage, and contamination.

Issue of Materials

Issue ingredients and materials as per requisitions. Record issues in stock registers software. Ensure correct quantities to control portions and costs.

Stock Control

Maintain daily stock records manually and digitally. Conduct stock counts daily, weekly, and monthly. Report shortages, excesses, and discrepancies to management.

Interdepartmental Coordination

Work with chefs to understand daily needs. Coordinate with the purchase department for timely replenishment. Share stock purchase reports with the finance team.

Compliance and Safety

Follow food safety guidelines. Keep the store clean, organized, and pest-free. Follow safety norms when handling heavy items or chemicals.

Record Keeping and Reporting

Maintain inward and outward stock registers. Prepare consumption and balance reports daily, weekly, and monthly. Identify fast-moving, slow-moving, or near-expiry items.

Requirements
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a supply chain role.
  • Basic knowledge of inventory management systems.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to prevent stock losses.
