Job Overview
- We are seeking a seasoned professional to join our team as a Senior Associate in Taxation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Tax Return Preparation and Review: Prepare and review complex tax returns, including individual and business filings.
- Real Estate Transaction Analysis: Review real estate transactions, including 1031 exchanges, to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Partnership Agreement Interpretation: Analyze partnership agreements and related allocations to provide accurate financial projections.
- Team Training and Documentation: Develop and deliver training programs for team members and create process documentation to enhance workflow efficiency.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in US taxation, specifically focusing on Real Estate Entities (REEs).
- Demonstrated expertise in tax laws and compliance, with a strong understanding of regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency in Lacerte and Microsoft Office, with the ability to adapt to new software applications.
- CPA/ACCA/CA certification is highly desirable but not mandatory.
