Job Opportunity

Ambitious and results-driven professional with expertise in power trading is required to leverage their skills and drive business growth while optimizing operational efficiency.

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks like CERC/SERC in all operations, maintaining a competitive edge.
  • Develop strong relationships with utilities, DISCOM personnel, and industrial clients to drive revenue growth.
  • Skilled in strategic planning, business development, power portfolio management, cost optimization, and innovative power solutions.
  • Optimize power purchase costs, enhance operational efficiency, and identify opportunities for growth in the power sector.
  • Analyze power requirements and deficit scenarios of DISCOMs to inform data-driven decisions.
  • Handle power management, power planning, renewable energy procurement, and power market operations (exchanges & banking/bilateral).
  • Maintain excellent client relationships to foster repeat business and achieve long-term goals.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and competitor analysis to maintain a market advantage.
Desired Qualifications:
  • Graduate/Postgraduate degree in Electrical Engineering/Energy/Power Management/MBA (Energy/Power/Operations) or equivalent.
  • Strong knowledge of Indian power market structure, renewable energy policies, and regulations.
  • Proven experience in power trading, power portfolio management, and interaction with utilities/DISCOMs.
  • Excellent analytical, negotiation, and relationship management skills to navigate complex business environments.
  • Hands-on experience in Power Exchanges (IEX, PXIL, HPX) and bilateral/banking transactions.
  • Ability to balance regulatory compliance with business growth objectives, driving innovation and success.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills to effectively engage with stakeholders.

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a related field, with a proven track record of achievement.
