EDI System Integration Specialist

The EDI System Integration Specialist plays a pivotal role in growing and maintaining our organization's eSolutions function and EDI capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • EDI System Management and Optimization
    • Set up, maintain, configure partner integrations to ensure seamless communication
    • Continuously monitor system performance to identify areas for improvement
    • Implement EDI standards and new transaction types based on business requirements
    • Evaluate EDI processes for opportunities to improve data flows for optimal efficiency
  • Projects and Implementation
    • Participate and lead EDI implementation initiatives and projects to achieve business objectives
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including SAP and EDI providers
    • Work closely with logistics and other stakeholders to ensure successful implementation
  • Data Mapping and Transaction Handling
    • Develop and maintain accurate data maps and transaction sets
    • Analyze and transform data to meet business needs
    • Ensure accuracy and compliance with EDI standards
  • Technical Support and Training
    • Provide technical support and troubleshooting services to resolve EDI issues
    • Train internal teams in EDI processes and systems to enhance their skills
    • Enhance team's abilities to resolve EDI issues independently
    Requirements:
    • Strong knowledge of EDI standards (e.g., X12, EDIFACT, XML) and communication protocols (e.g., AS2, FTP, SFTP)
    • Excellent problem-solving skills
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Demonstrated customer focus with ability to meet project timelines
    • Experience working in fast-paced environments
    • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
    • At least 3 years of experience implementing and supporting EDI solutions, including working with warehouse and logistics transactions
    • Project management experience
    • Team leadership experience
    • Experience in the healthcare industry preferred
