Azure DevOps Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Azure DevOps Engineer to join our team. This role requires strong knowledge of Azure cloud services, CI/CD pipeline building expertise, and experience with containerization and Kubernetes.

Responsibilities
  • CICD Pipelines and Azure Repos Configuration:
  • Hands-on experience creating CI/CD pipelines and configuring repositories in Azure DevOps to ensure efficient deployment and version control of applications.
  • Azure Cloud Services Expertise:
  • Strong knowledge of Azure cloud services (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) to design and implement scalable infrastructure solutions.
  • CI/CD Pipeline Building Expert:
  • Proven experience building CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps to automate testing, deployment, and monitoring of applications.
  • Version Control Tools Familiarity:
  • Familiarity with version control and source code management tools like Git, GitHub, Bitbucket, or Azure Repos to manage code changes effectively.
  • Containerization and Kubernetes Experience:
  • Experience containerizing applications with Docker and deploying to Kubernetes/AKS for high availability and scalability.
  • Branching Strategies and Release Management:
  • Solid understanding of branching strategies, release definitions, and release controls across stages (Dev, SIT, UAT, Prod) to ensure smooth application delivery.
  • Automation and Scripting Expertise:
  • Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and ARM templates for automation of provisioning and deployments, as well as experience writing IaC using Terraform or ARM templates.
