Luxury Retail Store Manager Position

Reliance Retail is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Store Manager/Assistant Store Manager to lead our Fashion Retail Luxury Brands segment in Bangalore. This full-time mid-level position requires you to support the store manager in all aspects of store operations, ensuring the highest standards of customer service and maximizing sales potential. You will play a pivotal role in driving store success, developing team capabilities, and enhancing the overall shopping experience for our clientele.
As a Store Manager/Assistant Store Manager, you will be responsible for assisting the store manager in daily operations, maintaining optimal inventory levels, and implementing inventory control measures. You will also drive sales goals by developing and executing sales strategies aligned with company objectives. Additionally, you will enhance the customer experience by leading customer service initiatives and resolving any escalated issues. Your leadership skills will inspire and manage a team effectively, fostering a positive work environment.
This role requires exceptional customer service skills, strong leadership abilities, and proficiency in POS systems for seamless transaction processing and store operations. You will also have the ability to implement effective merchandising strategies to optimize product placement and drive sales. Conflict resolution skills are essential to address customer and team issues promptly and professionally. Experience in monitoring team performance to identify areas for improvement and development opportunities is also crucial.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the store manager in daily operations, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning of the store.
- Maintain optimal inventory levels and implement inventory control measures.
- Drive sales goals by developing and executing sales strategies aligned with company objectives.
- Enhance the customer experience by leading customer service initiatives and resolving any escalated issues.
- Oversee visual merchandising in line with brand standards to promote a compelling product offering.
- Train and mentor store staff, fostering a team environment focused on delivering exceptional service.
- Conduct regular evaluations of store performance and staff productivity, suggesting improvements where necessary.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in inventory management to maintain optimal stock levels and reduce shrinkage (Mandatory skill).
- Exceptional customer service skills to ensure a superior shopping experience and build customer loyalty (Mandatory skill).
- Experience in sales forecasting to predict and manage future sales and inventory requirements (Mandatory skill).
- Strong leadership skills to inspire and manage a team effectively, fostering a positive work environment.
- Proficiency in POS systems for seamless transaction processing and store operations.
- Ability to implement effective merchandising strategies to optimize product placement and drive sales.
