Quality Assurance Engineer Role

Our team is seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Engineer to lead quality efforts across our software products. This position involves designing test strategies, developing automation frameworks, and ensuring seamless integration into continuous delivery pipelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive test plans, cases, and automation frameworks.
  • Design and maintain automated test scripts for functional, performance, and security testing.
  • Conduct thorough regression, exploratory, and usability testing.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
  • Identify, document, and track defects using tools like Jira or Bugzilla, collaborating with developers for resolution.
  • Create and maintain documentation of test cases, test results, and defect reports.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., GDPR, ISO 27001).
  • Provide test reports, risk assessments, and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Mentor junior QA engineers and contribute to best practices.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in software testing and automation.
  • Strong experience with Selenium, Cypress, or similar automation tools.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript.
  • Experience with API testing (Postman, REST Assured).
  • Knowledge of CI/CD tools and performance testing frameworks (JMeter, LoadRunner).
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to work in an agile environment.
