We are seeking an experienced Solar Procurement Specialist to join our team at Cleantech Industry Resources.
Job DescriptionThe successful candidate will be responsible for collaborating with project teams to define procurement needs and specifications, sourcing and evaluating potential suppliers and vendors for solar components, obtaining quotes, proposals, and bids from suppliers for project materials, and assisting in negotiating prices, terms, and contracts with suppliers.
You will also coordinate with cross-functional teams to align procurement strategies with project goals, develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors, monitor market trends and changes in solar component pricing, and assist in managing procurement budgets and cost tracking.
In addition, you will prepare and issue purchase orders and contracts to selected vendors, ensure timely delivery of materials and components to project sites, collaborate with logistics teams to manage transportation and delivery logistics, verify the quality and specifications of received materials, and support the resolution of procurement-related issues and challenges.
As a key member of our team, you will also assist in maintaining accurate procurement records and documentation, collaborate with legal and compliance teams to ensure contract compliance, manage vendor performance and relationships, stay informed about industry best practices and supplier capabilities, and adapt procurement strategies based on changing project requirements and constraints.
What We OfferWe offer a competitive salary of $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
