Automation Engineer Role Overview

This is a unique opportunity to work in the field of automation testing and deployment processes.

Job Description

As an Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing automated testing and deployment processes. This includes creating scripts to automate tasks, setting up test environments, and ensuring that software meets quality standards.

Our ideal candidate has a strong background in programming languages such as Java, Python, or Ruby, and experience with automation tools like Selenium, Appium, or Katalon Studio. Additionally, they should have knowledge of performance testing and tools like JMeter, Gatling, PageSpeed.

The successful candidate will also have experience in continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) tools like Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or Travis CI, and a solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.

Other essential skills include excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, strong communication and leadership abilities, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing automated testing and deployment processes
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, or Ruby
  • Experience with automation tools such as Selenium OR Appium OR Katalon Studio OR WebdriverIO.
  • Experience in performance testing and tools such as JMeter, Gatling, PageSpeed
