The role of Database Administrator is a crucial part of our success story. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining high-performance databases that support our mission-critical applications. Your expertise in MongoDB and MySQL administration will enable us to deliver exceptional customer experiences, drive business growth, and stay ahead of the competition.

Key Responsibilities

Database Administration

- Design, implement, and maintain high-performance databases that support our mission-critical applications.

Data Modeling and Management

- Develop efficient data models tailored for MongoDB, focusing on data integrity, scalability, and ease of access.

Performance Optimization

- Tune MongoDB queries and optimize indexes to improve database performance, reduce latency, and handle large volumes of data effectively.

Replication, Migration, and Upgradation

- Set up and maintain MongoDB replica sets for high availability and data redundancy.

Backup and Recovery Strategy

- Design, test, and implement robust backup and recovery strategies to ensure data integrity and reliability.

Cloud Platform Familiarity

- Maintain a basic understanding of cloud environments like AWS and Azure, focusing on deploying, managing, and scaling databases on these platforms.

Scripting and Automation

- Use shell scripts or Python to automate routine database tasks, including backups, monitoring, and reporting.

Adaptability and Task Management

- Effectively manage multiple projects and tasks within a fast-paced environment, prioritizing based on urgency and impact.

Primary Skills

- Over 5 years of hands-on experience in database management, specializing in MongoDB and MySQL administration.

- Strong foundational knowledge of AWS and Azure, with experience leveraging these platforms for database hosting and scaling.

- Familiarity with other NoSQL databases like Redis or Elasticsearch is beneficial, adding versatility in managing different data types and structures.
