Automation Specialist

As a seasoned Automation Specialist, you will be responsible for designing, developing and implementing custom applications, workflows and integrations to automate business processes and enhance service delivery.

You will configure the ServiceNow platform, write efficient code, integrate with third-party systems, perform testing and deployment, and provide technical expertise in various service management areas.

The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of automation tools and technologies, as well as experience with scripting languages such as JavaScript and Glide API.

A key responsibility of this role will be to ensure the accuracy, health and integration of the CMDB (Configuration Management Database).

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) required
  • Minimum one CIS in any of scope i.e. ITSM, ITOM or ITAM
  • 3–6+ years of hands-on experience implementing and supporting ServiceNow modules
  • Strong knowledge of CMDB, Discovery, Service Mapping, and integrations
  • Experience with scripting (JavaScript, Glide API) and workflow automation within ServiceNow
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
