Job Opportunity

The successful candidate will be responsible for spearheading e-commerce growth and profitability. This encompasses owning the full profit-and-loss statement for the geography, setting ambitious revenue, margin, and customer-acquisition-cost/customer-life-time-value targets.

About the Role:

  • Craft a holistic growth strategy across direct-to-consumer, marketplaces, offline, and emerging channels.
  • Forecast demand and manage end-to-end inventory to ensure less than 2% stock-out and less than 4% ageing stock.
  • Define product-market fit; localize hero SKUs, develop new-product roadmaps, and discontinue low-return-on-investment lines.
  • Collaborate with research-and-development teams to adapt formulations for regional regulations and sensorial preferences.
  • Develop and execute 360° marketing strategies—performance, influencer, customer-relationship-management, public-relations—allocating budgets for maximum return-on-ad-spend.
  • Establish data pipelines and dashboards to track cohorts, repeat rates, marketplace rankings in real time.
  • Negotiate with third-party-logistics providers, payment partners, and duty consultants to optimize landed costs and service-level-agreements.
  • Recruit, mentor, and performance-manage cross-functional teams (growth, operations, customer-service, retail, trade).
  • Embody customer obsession by gathering VOC insights to inform product updates and customer-experience enhancements.
  • Drive strategic partnerships with wellness chains, tourism boards, Ayurveda clinics to amplify reach.
  • Ensure legal and tax compliance, including cosmetics claims, import duties, and General Data Protection Regulation-like mandates.
  • Present quarterly business reviews to global leadership, highlighting wins, risks, and next bets.
  • Embed a test-and-learn culture; run A/B tests on funnels, creatives, bundles, and pricing levers.
  • Develop disaster-recovery and continuity plans for supply, logistics, ads, and key seller accounts.
  • Benchmark competition; deliver actionable intelligence on pricing, share-of-voice, and shelf velocity.
