We are seeking a seasoned professional to play a pivotal role in identifying, assessing and mitigating various risks associated with investment portfolios.

Responsibilities
  • Analyze potential risks including market, credit, operational, liquidity and regulatory risks to ensure portfolio safety and profitability.
  • Evaluate investment portfolios to assess exposure to various risk factors, providing actionable insights for informed decision-making.
  • Implement risk mitigation strategies, collaborating with the investment team to ensure risk considerations are incorporated into portfolio decisions.
  • Develop and maintain risk models, stress-testing scenarios to measure potential impacts on the portfolio, and continuously monitor market conditions and investment trends.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics or a related field and 7-10 years of experience in risk management within an investment management or financial services organization. Prior experience in Wealth Management, Mutual Funds, PMS or Alternate Investments is preferred.

Required Skills
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in using risk models, quantitative analysis and stress testing.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex risk information clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in risk management software and tools such as Bloomberg, FACTSET, Barra etc.
  • Computer proficiency in MS Word and Excel.

Prior experience in Investment / Analytics background is suitable. Strong presentation skills and report writing documentation capabilities are essential for success in this role. The successful candidate will be a strong team player who can contribute to a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
