Mobile Android Engineer

About this Role
  • You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining mobile applications for Android devices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, product, and data teams, to deliver great user experiences.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in mobile development to ensure our applications remain competitive.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Design and develop high-quality Android applications that meet customer requirements.
  2. Develop unit tests and integration tests to ensure code quality and reliability.
  3. Collaborate with the development team to identify and resolve technical issues.
  4. Stay current with the latest Android development tools and frameworks.
  5. Participate in code reviews to maintain high standards of code quality.
  6. Work with designers to create visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces.
  7. Collaborate with product managers to prioritize features and meet project deadlines.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in software development, with at least 7+ years in designing/developing Android Mobile applications.
  • Experience working with modern Android development frameworks such as Jetpack compose and Kotlin.
  • Strong understanding of software engineering principles, including design patterns, object-oriented programming, and testing.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Able to stay current with the latest technologies and trends in mobile development.
