Job Title: Senior Jira Plugin Developer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Jira Plugin Developer to join our dynamic team at U-Set Consultancy Private Limited. As a Senior Jira Plugin Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Jira plugins to enhance our project management capabilities in Jira.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define plugin requirements and specifications.
  • Customize and configure Jira to optimize workflows and maximize productivity.
  • Perform plugin installations, upgrades, and troubleshooting to ensure smooth functioning.
  • Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure high-quality and maintainable plugins.
  • Integrate Jira plugins with external systems and tools.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to internal teams and end-users regarding Jira plugins.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in Jira plugin development.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5-8 years of professional experience in Jira plugin development.
  • Strong proficiency in Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, and Hibernate, and familiarity with web technologies (HTML/CSS, JavaScript).
  • In-depth knowledge of Jira plugin development frameworks such as Atlassian Plugin SDK.
  • Experience with server-side development and RESTful API integration.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop high-quality, scalable, and maintainable code.
  • Solid understanding of software development methodologies and Agile practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
