About the Job

We are seeking a seasoned Cloud Architect to lead the implementation of our infrastructure via code and provide strategic advice/recommendations for the development and advancement of Microsoft Azure technologies.

This role requires strong technical expertise in designing, developing, and deploying public cloud solutions via Infrastructure as Code, including Terraform and ARM. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience supporting, designing, and developing public cloud solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Infrastructure Implementation: Lead the implementation of our infrastructure via code using tools such as Terraform and ARM templates.
  2. Strategic Advice: Provide strategic advice/recommendations for the development and advancement of Microsoft Azure technologies based on previous research on trends in public cloud environments.
  3. Troubleshooting: Act as the escalation point for level three Azure-related issues, providing technical support and fault resolution.
  4. Documentation: Maintain and deliver all related documentation for the design, development, build, and deployment methods used.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Tertiary Qualifications: Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline with relevant certifications in Microsoft Azure.
  • Experience: Worked as a Data engineer on Azure Cloud and have significant experience supporting, designing, and developing public cloud solutions.
  • Technical Expertise: Comprehensive knowledge of public cloud environments, industry trends, and DevOps experience.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to communicate effectively, and work collaboratively with diverse team members.
