Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Freelance QA Automation Engineer with expertise in automation frameworks for both UI and API testing. The ideal candidate should be able to design, develop, and execute automated test cases to ensure the reliability, performance, and quality of applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts using frameworks for UI and API testing.
  • Design reusable, modular, and scalable automation frameworks.
  • Collaborate with development teams, QA engineers, and business analysts to understand requirements and create effective test coverage.
  • Execute and analyze test results, identifying and reporting defects.
  • Integrate automated tests into continuous integration and deployment pipelines.
  • Provide detailed documentation of test plans, test cases, and execution reports.
Requirements:
  • Proven hands-on experience with automation frameworks for both API and UI testing.
  • Strong understanding of APIs, JSON, and XML data formats.
  • Familiarity with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail).
  • Knowledge of continuous integration and deployment tools (Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps, etc.).
  • Solid understanding of QA methodologies and software testing lifecycle.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with programming languages (Java, JavaScript, etc.).
  • Exposure to cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
