Job Title: Cybersecurity Architect

Our organization seeks a skilled Cybersecurity Architect to strengthen its security posture across cloud, applications, and enterprise infrastructure. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in cybersecurity strategy, cloud security, DevSecOps automation, risk governance, and incident response.

The role requires building a robust cybersecurity team from the ground up and leading the vertical, ensuring governance, scalability, and resilience for the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement, and manage enterprise-wide security architecture and frameworks across multi-cloud environments.
  • Lead secure SDLC adoption, threat modeling, application security reviews, and WAF implementation.
  • Drive DevSecOps practices, including automation of compliance checks, vulnerability management, and secure infrastructure provisioning.
Team Leadership:
  • Establish and grow the cybersecurity team, setting up processes, frameworks, and best practices.
  • Act as the head of the cybersecurity vertical, accountable for strategy, execution, and reporting to leadership.
  • Build a strong pipeline of security talent and mentor engineers to achieve maturity in security operations.
Security Strategy:
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements (NIST, ISO 27001, PCI DSS, GDPR, PSD2, SOC2).
  • Partner with leadership to balance business needs with security risk tolerance, translating technical risk into actionable business decisions.
  • Continuously improve security policies, procedures, and audit readiness.
Cybersecurity Operations & Incident Response:
  • Work with SOC and Incident Response teams to detect, investigate, and remediate security threats and incidents.
  • Develop and optimize incident response playbooks to improve containment, recovery, and resilience.
  • Implement proactive monitoring and security automation to reduce exposure to malicious events.
Qualifications:
  • Master's in Computer Science and Bachelor's in Computer Science/Engineering.
  • 17+ years of proven cybersecurity experience across cloud, DevSecOps, application security, and compliance.
  • Certifications: ISC2 CCSP, AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Security Engineer, CEH Master, Google Cloud Architect, ITIL.
  • Hands-on expertise in AWS/Azure security services, IAM, Terraform, Okta/AD, CI/CD pipelines, Secure network design (VPCs, firewalls, WAFs), Application and product security reviews, Security automation and compliance monitoring tools.
  • Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
