A Chief Security Officer is required to ensure the security and administration of a manufacturing unit.
- We are seeking an experienced individual with strong leadership skills to manage teams and ensure the physical safety of occupants, employees, and visitors.
- Security Administration: Define systems and processes related to security and administration in the plant and continuously monitor and review them.
- Technology Solutions: Research and deploy state-of-the-art technology solutions and innovative security management techniques.
- Physical Safety: Develop procedures to ensure the physical safety of occupants, employees, and visitors.
- Crisis Management: Maintain relationships with local police and state law enforcement and other related government agencies.
- Emergency Procedures: Develop emergency procedures and incident responses.
- Threat Analysis: Analyze potential threats and weak points analysis.
- Site Evacuation: Provision for controlled and monitored site evacuation.
- Security Intelligence Network: Develop a suitable security intelligence network to gather and collate information related to activities of the occupants, their employees, visitors/customers, public in surrounding areas, and take proactive measures to curb possible threats to security of the building and its occupants.
- Surveillance System: Ensure all security-related equipment, including electronic surveillance systems, are in place and operational to prevent occurrence of theft, sabotage, accident, etc.
- Continuous Surveillance: Ensure continuous surveillance on activities of the occupants, visitors, etc., to pre-empt/curb any incident of pilferage/accidents and control nefarious activities in and around buildings.
- Training: Ensure regular training of security personnel for enhancing their skills and sustain standards of security system.
- Encroachment: Ensure no encroachment takes place around the unit.
- Traffic Management: Ensure smooth traffic in and around the unit.
- Deployment of Security Personnel: Deployment of security personnel for different areas based on technical evaluation of competency of security agency and manpower deployment.
- Security System Evaluation: Evaluation of security system, its upgradation, and surprise checks in the unit.
- Liaison: Liaison with Govt. Officials, Local Police, Local Administration, etc., to achieve harmonious relations at all locations.
- Firefighting Drills: Practice firefighting drills through regular exercises, mock drills, wet drills, and train security staff in their actions as part of Unit Disaster Management Plan.
- Maintenance of Fire Fighting Equipment: Also ensure maintenance of fire-fighting equipment and timely demonstration to prevent/minimize losses due to fire.
