Electro-Mechanical Documentation Specialist

As an Electro-Mechanical Documentation Specialist, you will create and revise technical documentation for complex assemblies. This includes Component Maintenance Manuals (CMMs), Illustrated Parts Catalogues (IPC), Service Bulletins, and Temporary Revisions.

This role requires a deep understanding of technical documentation principles and the ability to interpret complex schematics and diagrams. If you have experience in technical writing and are familiar with industry standards and regulations, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create and revise CMMs, IPCs, Service Bulletins, and Temporary Revisions to ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and internal quality guidelines.
  • Write procedures and functional descriptions by interpreting schematics, wiring diagrams, and circuit diagrams.
  • Familiarize yourself with structured documentation formats such as XML or SGML.
  • Use tools like Adobe Illustrator, IsoDraw CAD Process, or CorelDRAW for technical illustrations.
  • Maintain strong knowledge of ATA 100, ATA iSpec 2200, S1000D, and Simplified Technical English.
  • Understand S1000D data module structure and CGM/SVG integration for illustrations.
  • Experience working with CAD tools like CATIA V5, UG (NX), and SolidWorks to generate accurate visuals.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., engineering, technical communication).
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in technical writing or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of technical documentation principles.
  • Ability to interpret complex schematics and diagrams.
  • Familiarity with industry standards (e.g., ATA iSpec 2200, S1000D) and regulatory requirements.
  • Proficiency in tools like Adobe Illustrator, IsoDraw CAD Process, or CorelDRAW.
  • Experience working with CAD tools like CATIA V5, UG (NX), and SolidWorks.
