Job Title: Project Manager – Airline Domain

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of airline operations, systems, and processes, with a proven track record in project management, client engagement, and cross-functional leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of airline domain projects, ensuring scope, timeline, cost, and quality objectives are met.
  • Engage closely with airline clients to understand business needs, define project scope, and translate them into actionable plans.
  • Manage project schedules, risks, issues, and dependencies using agile/waterfall or hybrid methodologies.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams including development, QA, business analysts, and third-party vendors.
  • Monitor and report project progress through regular status updates, dashboards, and stakeholder meetings.
  • Ensure adherence to compliance, security, and quality standards in all project phases.
  • Drive continuous improvement by identifying and implementing best practices.
  • Support pre-sales activities such as RFP responses, estimations, and client presentations (as required).

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or related field; PMP/Prince2 certification is a plus.
  • 15+ years of total experience, with at least 5+ years managing projects in the airline or aviation industry.
  • Strong knowledge of airline systems such as PSS (Passenger Service Systems), DCS (Departure Control Systems), revenue management, loyalty systems, or MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul).
  • Hands-on experience in managing enterprise applications, digital transformation, or system integration projects in airline context.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Familiarity with tools like MS Project, JIRA, Confluence, or similar.
  • Ability to work in a global delivery model and manage geographically distributed teams.
