Job Title: Compliance and Litigation Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a seasoned Compliance and Litigation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and managing litigation matters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct legal audits and due diligence to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to ensure adherence to regulatory frameworks.
  • Draft legal notices and representations.
  • Issue timely legal advice and assistance to business units.
  • Oversee litigation preparation and review of pleadings and documentation.
  • Provide strategic business advisory on new ventures, regulatory landscape, and legal feasibility.
  • Ensure data protection, privacy laws, and technicalities related to T&C.

Requirements:

  • LLB degree from a reputable university; LLM is a plus
  • Post-qualification experience in corporate law
  • Proven expertise in IT Act, data protection regulation laws
  • Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills
  • Strong analytical abilities with risk identification
  • Mature mindset with a proactive approach and high integrity
