We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Ledger Manager to join our team.

Job Description:

The General Ledger Manager will be responsible for managing the general ledger accounting function, ensuring accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain General Ledger: Maintain the general ledger to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
  • Reconcile Accounts: Reconcile all general ledger accounts on a regular basis to ensure that they are up-to-date and accurate.
  • Closed Periods: Close periods in a timely manner to ensure that financial statements are prepared accurately and on time.
  • Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with tax regulations, including direct and indirect taxes, and handle tax assessments and audits as needed.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial data for management reporting, develop and present MIS, P&L, and other performance reports.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CA)
  • 2-5 years of experience in GL accounting and book closing roles
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, including advanced functions
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle preferred)
  • Solid knowledge of accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP)
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
