Splunk Solutions Architect

Job Description:
Splunk Solutions Architects are responsible for managing and optimizing Splunk infrastructure to ensure efficient deployment and maintenance across various platforms.

We are looking for a seasoned expert in Splunk who can help us design and implement robust solutions that meet the needs of our business.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Splunk Indexer, Search Head, Deployment Server, Heavy Forwarder, and Universal forwarder setup and configuration.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Setup and configuration of Splunk Indexer, Search Head, Deployment Server, Heavy Forwarder, and Universal forwarder.
  • Standardization of Splunk Forwarder Deployments, configurations, and maintenance across UNIX and Windows platforms.
  • Troubleshooting of Splunk server and Forwarder problems and issues.
  • Design and maintenance of production-quality Dashboards.
  • Expertise in Parsing, Indexing, Searching concepts (Hot, Warm, Cold, Frozen bucketing).
  • Proficiency in using regex commands to extract fields from log files.
  • Expertise in Actuate Reporting, Development, Deployment, Management, and Performance Tuning of Actuate Reports.
  • Monitoring of Splunk infrastructure for capacity planning and optimization, and supporting Splunk on Linux and Windows-based platforms.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
Qualifications:
  • Certifications: Splunk Certified Power User and Splunk Certified Admin.

Skills:
  • Experience with MongoDb/Docker services.
  • Proficiency in Python and creating customized scripts.
  • Worked on data analytics.
