About the Job

We are seeking an experienced Cyber Security Program Manager to lead our team in delivering secure solutions. The successful candidate will have a strong background in program management, cybersecurity, and software development.

Job Summary

The Cyber Security Program Manager will be responsible for coordinating between application security testing teams and development teams to ensure timely delivery of security fixes. This role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across different departments.

Main Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate the program structure for delivering security fixes in a timely manner within the software development lifecycle.
  • Guide the team and organization on how to use Agile/Scrum practices and values delivery security fixes in accordance with customer expectations.
  • Develop and deliver regular reporting to management on the status of security fixes in the development pipeline.
  • Identify opportunities for improving the delivery of security fixes and effectively communicate recommendations for improvement.
  • Guide the team in filling in the gaps in the Agile/Scrum/DevSecOps frameworks to coordinate the delivery of security fixes across delivery pipelines.
  • Identify issues blocking the delivery of security fixes and report the identified issues to management for resolution.

Requirements & Eligibility

  • Certified Scrum Master (preferred)
  • Certified PMP (Preferred)
  • Propagates information promptly, clearly and unambiguously.
  • Knows when to make the call on a decision.
  • Ability to develop and foster teamwork. Able to diagnose, understand, and facilitate team 3 dynamics.
  • Consistently gauges how the team is doing and drives the necessary actions to improve.
  • Facilitates team mechanics and energizes the people. Motivates, draws out, and rewards the best work from individuals on their team. Highlights exemplary behaviour, skills, or accomplishments.

Experience and Education

  • 8-10 years project and program management experience, preferably in a software or health care environment. 2 years of which must be program management.
  • Experience is coordinating audits, certification and accreditations is preferred
  • Demonstrated current working knowledge of compliance standards and compliance project success.
  • Experience in corporate and/or healthcare setting requiring routine interaction with internal and external stakeholders.

Salary Range: $120,000 - $150,000 per year
