As a Technical Writer at Oceaneering India Center, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining high-quality documentation contributing to the overall success of our products.

The technical writer is expected to understand the product and existing documentation, updating relevant sections for subsequent releases. This may include user guides, integration guides, API developer guides, in-platform instructions, installation, configuration instructions, and system operations.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Creating, updating, and maintaining technical and non-technical software-related documentation for our products.
  • Working closely with internal product owners and business teams to discuss and understand enterprise-level products and capabilities.
  • Writing documents for both external and internal audiences.
  • Grasping complex business and technical information and writing organized net new documents for new products or capabilities.

Required qualifications include a graduate degree in engineering/IT/Computer Science, minimum 1 year of experience in technical writing, and strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Adobe FrameMaker, and InDesign.

Desired qualifications include technical writer certification and familiarity with the Microsoft Writing Style Guide.
