Job Description:

We seek a detail-oriented Furniture Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience using AutoCAD or CAD+T software, designing custom and modular furniture pieces that balance functionality and aesthetic appeal.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Create detailed technical drawings of furniture pieces using AutoCAD or CAD+T design software.
  • Collaborate with design, production and sales teams to translate concepts into manufacturable designs.
  • Optimize designs for material efficiency, ease of production and structural integrity.
  • Revise designs based on feedback from stakeholders and manufacturing feasibility.
  • Maintain an organized library of design files and documentation.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years' minimum experience in 3D furniture design (modular and/or custom).
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD is required; experience with CAD+T is a strong plus.
  • Familiarity with other 3D design tools like SketchUp, SolidWorks or 3ds Max is a bonus.
  • Strong understanding of joinery, materials, fittings and furniture manufacturing processes.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints and specifications.

Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical/Civil), Architecture or related field is preferred.
  • Diploma holders in relevant fields may also be considered based on experience and skill level.
