Job Title: Data Engineering Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineering Lead to join our team.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in data engineering, with expertise in designing, building, and maintaining large-scale data systems.

About the Role

This is a senior leadership position that requires a deep understanding of data engineering principles, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

The ideal candidate will be able to lead a team of data engineers, provide technical guidance, and work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality data solutions.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 7+ years of experience in data engineering
  • Strong knowledge of AWS services
  • Expertise in Python, PySpark, and data modeling
  • Knowledge of columnar and NoSQL databases, predictive analytics, data visualization, and unstructured data
  • Experience working with ETL, data mining, Data Warehousing, and segmentation techniques
  • Knowledge of databases (Azure SQL, MySQL), data lakes (e.g., Azure Data Lake/Delta lakes), Processing tools (e.g., Databricks/HDInsight) and BI and Reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
  • Excellent analytical skills and quick grasp
  • Independent way of working with high proactivity
  • Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
  • Excellent written, verbal, communication with the ability to articulate new ideas and concepts to technical and non-technical audiences
