Job Title: Data Insights Lead

About the Role: We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our data insights function and drive strategic decision-making.

  • Data Leadership & Strategy:

The ideal candidate will have expertise in designing and implementing research studies, identifying key performance indicators, and developing comprehensive proposals.

  • Technical Engagement & Research Design:

You will collaborate with stakeholders to understand project requirements and participate in technical discussions to define research objectives and methodologies for both qualitative and quantitative studies.

  • Indicator Identification & Evaluation:

You will lead the process of identifying, evaluating, and finalizing key performance indicators and research objectives aligned with project goals.

  • Proposal Development:

You will design and develop proposals for Monitoring & Evaluation, Impact Assessment, and Need Assessment studies, including frameworks, procedures, data collection tools, and questionnaires.

  • Capacity Building:

You will lead training and capacity development of data collection teams, ensuring clarity on methodologies, tools, and ethical guidelines.

  • Tool Development & Digitalization:

You will oversee tool translation, finalize skip patterns, and validation checks, and ensure seamless conversion of paper-based questionnaires into digital formats such as CAPI or other suitable platforms.

  • Implementation & Execution:

You will drive execution of MEL activities as per project requirements, ensuring timely data collection, adherence to protocols, and efficient field operations.

  • Data Management & Analysis:

You will supervise data review processes, including cleaning, validation, and analysis, ensuring the integrity and accuracy of datasets.

  • Reporting:

You will lead preparation of high-quality reports, translating complex data into actionable insights for stakeholders and corporate partners.

  • Consultant & Stakeholder Management:

You will effectively manage external consultants and internal teams as required, fostering collaboration, performance tracking, and alignment with project objectives.
