Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive financial manager to support project and operational finance activities. This role will be responsible for managing project finances, forecasting revenue and costs, invoicing clients, and ensuring compliance with contractual agreements and internal policies.

The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, and project finance, as well as proficiency in Zoho Books/Zoho Projects or similar financial/project management tools.

  • Financial Management:
  • Develop and manage project budgets, cost baselines, and financial forecasts in alignment with business objectives.
  • Track budget vs. actuals regularly and flag variances early with actionable insights.
  • Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to optimize cost allocation.
  • Invoicing & Revenue Management:
  • Support the finance team in raising invoices for client projects.
  • Track receivables to ensure timely payments from clients.
  • Manage vendor payments and software subscription payments using Zoho.
  • Maintain accurate records of SOWs, WOs, MSAs, and NDAs for all projects.
  • Track billable vs. non-billable resources to ensure accurate project costing.
  • Oversee timesheet management for consultants and ensure timely submissions.
  • Forecasting & Projections:
  • Estimate future revenue and cost projections based on sales pipeline and current utilization.
  • Provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making.
  • Prepare periodic reports on utilization, profitability, and project financial health.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA/CA/ICWA preferred).
  • 4–7 years of experience in financial planning, budgeting, or project finance.
  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with finance, operations, and project management teams.
Qualifications
  • Excellent skills in MS Excel (financial modeling, projections, variance analysis).
  • Proficiency in Zoho Books/Zoho Projects or similar financial/project management tools.
