About the Role

The Senior Legal Manager will be responsible for providing strategic legal advice and support to the business in various areas, including supply chain, vendor contracts, operations, infrastructure, employment matters, and litigations. Key responsibilities include drafting and negotiating vendor contracts, advising on contractual queries, conducting risk assessments, and providing guidance on employment and HR-related matters.

Key Accountabilities
  • Draft, review, and negotiate all vendor contracts on behalf of Syngene International
  • Advise and provide legal support to business teams on various contractual queries
  • Conduct research and provide analysis on ad-hoc novel complex legal issues
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders across the business to ensure alignment with company objectives and compliance requirements
Requirements
  • 3-8 years of relevant work experience in contract drafting and negotiations
  • Sound knowledge in contractual drafting, negotiations, and execution
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry and relevant laws and regulations (an added advantage)
