Integration Developer - Design, Develop, and Support Integration Solutions

We are seeking an experienced Integration Developer to join our middleware team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in designing, developing, and supporting integration solutions using IBM Integration Bus (IIB). This role requires a strong understanding of integration patterns, ESQL, Java, and message flow development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy integration flows using IBM Integration Bus (IIB)
  • Develop and maintain message flows, ESQL, JavaCompute nodes, and other integration components
  • Collaborate with business analysts and architects to understand integration requirements and translate them into technical solutions
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to middleware and integration components
  • Perform unit testing, integration testing, and support user acceptance testing (UAT)
  • Monitor and optimize the performance of integration solutions
  • Document design, development, and operational procedures
  • Work with other middleware technologies and tools as needed (e.g., MQ, REST/SOAP services)
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards
  • Support production deployments and provide post-deployment support

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an IIB Developer with hands-on experience in IBM Integration Bus (v9, v10, or later)
  • Strong knowledge of ESQL, Java, and message flow development
  • Experience with WebSphere MQ (MQ Series) and messaging concepts
  • Familiarity with RESTful and SOAP web services
  • Understanding of middleware architecture and integration patterns
  • Experience with XML, JSON, and related data transformation techniques
  • Ability to troubleshoot and debug complex integration issues
  • Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
