Scientific Visual Content Creator

We are seeking a skilled Scientific Visual Content Creator to join our organization. As a remote-first team, you will have the flexibility to work from anywhere while collaborating with our global team.

Digital Media Solutions works with scientists, universities, and organizations across the world to convert complex scientific ideas into engaging content and visuals tailored to different audiences. As a Scientific Visual Content Creator, you will combine scientific expertise with creative design skills to produce accurate and visually engaging materials.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop visually engaging graphical abstracts that represent the essence of a scientific study.
  • Read and comprehend scientific manuscripts to extract key visual elements and concepts.
  • Create storyboards that outline the visual narrative, ensuring alignment with the scientific content and client objectives.
  • Generate rough sketches to illustrate initial visual concepts, collaborating closely with researchers, writers, and clients to refine and finalize the visual representation.

Requirements:

  • Graduate/PhD degree in STEM fields, especially Biology/Biotechnology/Medicine/Chemistry/Physics/Engineering.
  • 3-5 years of experience in scientific visual content creation, communicating science and complex research into visually engaging output.
  • Advanced skills in Adobe Design Suite (Illustrator and Photoshop).
  • Creating 3D designs in Blender is an added advantage.
