Accurate financial data is critical to the success of any business. As a Payment Posting Agent, you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of financial data, supporting revenue cycle operations.

About This Role:
  • This position involves posting insurance payments, electronic remittance advices (ERAs), and patient payments into dental billing software with precision and speed.
  • You will reconcile deposits with bank statements and daily payment reports to guarantee all payments are accounted for.
  • Review Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) and ERAs to identify underpayments, overpayments, and denials, escalating discrepancies or trends as needed.
  • Post adjustments according to payer contracts and internal policies, maintaining HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality at all times.
  • Collaborate with appeals or collections teams for timely resolution of denied or unpaid claims.

Responsibilities Include:

  1. Payment Posting: Post insurance payments, ERAs, and patient payments into dental billing software.

Requirements:
  • At least 2 years of experience with payment posting.
  • Experience with dental management software.
  • Excellent attention to detail and numbers.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
