Job Title: Internal Control Manager

  • Job Summary:
  • We are seeking a highly skilled Internal Control Manager to join our team. As an Internal Control Manager, you will be responsible for conducting independent on-site internal control reviews and ensuring timely implementation of control processes and corrective actions.
  • You will undertake special projects to identify opportunities for process simplification, standardization, and automation, with a view to strengthening internal controls while reducing inefficiencies, inaccuracies, and overall workload.
  • The successful candidate will thoroughly assess all areas of risks and implement complete and effective risk management strategies across all functional areas.
  • They will facilitate coordination of mandatory Statutory/Corporate/Asia reporting requirements such as the Quarterly Attestation and Semi-Annual Balance Sheet Reviews.
  • This role involves sharing best practices across the region.
  • Additionally, you will support location management teams for Operational & Financial audits by assisting in preparation, liaising with auditors (if required), response development, and closure of deficiencies.
  • You will obtain, analyze, and evaluate accounting documents to check compliance with US GAAP, Indian Accounting Standards, and Company's internal policy.

Qualifications:

  • Chartered Accountant with over 8 years of experience in internal audit/accounting audit/internal control role with at least 4 years in a Big 4 environment.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment with cross-functional departments.
  • Ability to perform Process Audit and Month close review independently.
  • Outstanding knowledge of US GAAP and Indian Accounting standards.
  • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills; able to clearly communicate verbally and in writing with team members and executive stakeholders.
  • High adaptability and ability to work well with ambiguity.
  • Great attitude in high-pressure situations with ability to negotiate and influence effective outcomes and drive results.
  • Strong work ethic and track record of taking on additional responsibility; self-starter and self-directed with a can-do outlook.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Project).
  • Experience in QAD and Hyperion highly preferred.
