Orbit & Skyline is seeking a skilled professional with a deep understanding of electronics and electrical systems. The ideal candidate will be part of a team providing engineering support and solutions to customers, contributing to the development of the Indian semiconductor ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate electronic products and systems by designing testing methods
  • Work on obsolescence activities to qualify replacements, perform testing to qualify and release in the system along with documentation
  • End-to-end ownership: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and qualify engineering solutions
  • Rapidly generate design concepts that develop into detailed drawings for manufacture
  • Participate in design reviews to present designs throughout different phases of design and development

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical or electronic engineering with 3-5 years of experience
  • Master's degree preferred with 1 year of experience
  • Comfortable working with US-based timings

Mandatory Skills:

  • Good understanding of electronics components and schematics/system interconnects
  • Able to select and recommend components depending on application and circuit requirements
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Critical/system-level thinking
  • Good project management skills
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Desirable Skills:

  • Exposure to working on part lifecycle management, change orders using PLM systems
  • Experience in working on electronic component obsolescence
  • Understanding of PCB and components
  • Hands-on experience in testing electronics components - bench-level test and system-level test
  • Hands-on experience with AUTOCAD/Zuken/PCAD software
