Job Title: Network Solutions Expert

Experience Required: 8-12 years

  • Must have worked in network operations and deployment, including data center build, migration of networks, etc.
  • Hands-on experience with network devices such as routers, switches, wireless, and network authentications, remote access VPN, firewalls, IPS/IDS, load balancer, network management tools.
  • Designing network solutions for new data center builds, new office site builds.
  • Experience in network solutions (presales) and working on RFP/RFI/proactive engagements.
  • Understanding different network vendor products and choosing the right match for customer requirements based on technology and cost impact analysis.
  • Understanding high-level technical differences between OEM vendors, such as SD-WAN between Viptela, Silver peak, and Fortinet.
  • Preferrable experience working with multiple OEM vendors on creating designs, BoM, cost estimations.
  • Good experience writing technical solution documents for customer submissions.
  • Creating PPTs for customer solution defenses.
  • Presenting technical solutions to customers, fluent communication skills, and presentation skills.
  • Creating pre-sales solution responses in documents, PPTs, and explaining reasons for proposed solutions.
  • Analytical ability to understand customer pulses on requirements, objectives, expectations, and performing pre-sales solutions with proper business cases and justification.
  • Candidates with experience preferred on load balancers, firewalls, NMS & OEM native tools, DDI, network automation, orchestration, firewall, IPS, IDS, application delivery controllers, WAN sizing, SDN, SDWAN, SD LAN, cloud networking, network SaaS solutions, etc.
  • Working on RFX deals for Fortune 500 global customers and converting opportunities into positive outcomes would be given preference.
  • Strategic decision-making skills.
  • Basic knowledge of cloud network skills and working with internal teams like compute, workplace, public cloud, private cloud, transition team, security team to meet solution RFX requirements.
  • Work closely with enterprise solution architects and sales customer focus teams to understand their objectives and win deals.

Certifications: CCNP, Aruba, Juniper, CCIE preferable.
