Job Title: Assistant Manager Plantation

About the Role

The position of Assistant Manager Plantation plays a pivotal role in ensuring seamless production planning, addressing on-ground challenges proactively, and aligning farm activities to achieve targeted yield and quality outcomes.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Operational Management
  • Duty 1: Develop land-specific packages of practices for energy crop farming.
  • Duty 2: Implement planting, cultivation, and harvesting plans efficiently.
  • Duty 3: Oversee the optimal use of resources, including land, labor, machinery, and finances.
  • Duty 4: Ensure high-quality crops and products through adherence to standards and best practices.
  • Duty 5: Develop and implement strategies to improve crop yields and overall productivity.
  • Duty 6: Build and maintain an efficient workforce, including recruitment, training, and supervision.
Sustainability and Compliance
  • Duty 7: Implement and maintain sustainable agricultural practices, including environmental stewardship and social responsibility.
  • Duty 8: Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
Communication and Leadership
  • Duty 9: Train, motivate, and lead a team of employees, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Duty 10: Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including management, suppliers, and customers.
Key Tasks
  • Duty 11: Monitor and report on all plantation sites digitally.
  • Duty 12: Oversee land clearing, preparation, and maintenance.
  • Duty 13: Supervise planting, fertilization, pest control, gap filling, and other cultivation activities.
  • Duty 14: Manage harvesting operations and ensure proper post-harvest handling and storage.
  • Duty 15: Maintain accurate records of all plantation activities.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 5 to 8 years.
  • Education: Agriculture graduate students are eligible to apply.

This is a field-based role that involves working closely with labors. Candidates should be willing to get their hands dirty, as this hands-on experience will contribute significantly to their personal and professional growth.
