Manual QA Engineer for E-commerce Platforms

This is a hands-on opportunity to work with e-commerce platforms and contribute to the growth of our Quality Assurance team. As a Manual QA Engineer, you will be responsible for reviewing system specifications and business requirements, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and designing test cases for web and mobile platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and analyze system specifications and business requirements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the development lifecycle
  • Design and execute test cases (manual) for web and mobile platforms
  • Perform regression, functional, integration, and UI testing for e-commerce features
  • Identify, document, and track bugs using tools like JIRA or similar
  • Validate fixes and conduct re-testing as needed
  • Work closely with developers and product managers to resolve issues
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and documentation

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 5–7 years of experience as a Manual QA Tester
  • Proven experience testing e-commerce platforms or applications
  • Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and defect lifecycle
  • Hands-on experience with test case management tools
  • Experience working with issue tracking tools like JIRA
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Familiarity with cross-browser and mobile testing

Nice to Have:

  • Experience in API testing using Postman or similar tools
  • Familiarity with databases and ability to write basic SQL queries
  • Knowledge of automation tools is a plus but not required
  • Exposure to platforms like Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce, or custom-built e-commerce systems
