Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled BMS Hardware Architect to join our team.

As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for designing and developing the BMS HW system for a BESS domain.

  • You will design state-of-the-art BMS systems with compliance to EMI-EMC aspects.
  • You will develop high-quality modules/systems on-time, ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • You will provide solutions to complex use cases through effective communication with cross-functional teams.

Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering (EEE).

Experience:

  • A minimum of 12 years of experience in related fields.

Skills:

  • Demonstrated experience developing BMS for energy storage/ESS.
  • Rich hands-on experience in architecting Power Electronics concepts for BMS.
  • Knowledge of Digital circuit design, Analog circuit design, ADC, DACs, OP Amps, Micro-processors, Micro-controllers & DSPs, etc.
  • Knowledge of Regulatory requirements for Li-ion batteries for Energy storage application such as UL9540/UL1973/IEC62619/IEC 60730, etc.
  • Knowledge of PCB layout constraints.
  • Knowledge and demonstrated experience with Analog Front End circuit design for Li-ion batteries.
  • Knowledge and demonstrated experience using simulation tools (for example P-Spice, Matlab, Mathcad).
  • Experience with FMEA and Root Cause Analysis.
  • Experience working with various Sensing Technologies (ex: Temp Sensor, Voltage sensor, etc.).
  • Experience working with hardware peripherals and communication ckt design .
  • Experience in Power Supply Design.
  • Experience working with MOSFET driving,

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of Safety Regulatory standards like IEC61508, ISO26262 when building HW designs)
  • Working knowledge of safety-critical features like charge control, thermal control, fault detection, and diagnostics for battery and energy products.
