Lead Data Architect

We are seeking an exceptional Data Architect to spearhead the design, development, and implementation of cutting-edge data platforms. This role requires a highly skilled professional with expertise in cloud-native technologies, data-intensive applications, and modern data warehouse tools.

This is an excellent opportunity to join our innovative team and drive large-scale data initiatives. As a key member of our Data Warehouse team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the architecture, mentoring senior engineers, and engaging directly with clients.

  • Mandatory Skills & Experience:
  • 10+ years of experience in Data Engineering, with 4+ years leading teams.
  • Strong coding expertise: Python, JVM, and Shell scripting with production-grade experience.
  • 5+ years in cloud-native, data-intensive applications with mandatory AWS expertise.
  • Proven experience in Data Warehouse design & development using modern DW tools.
  • Hands-on with Databricks and dbt (mandatory).
  • Expert in Airflow (workflow orchestration).
  • Strong experience building & maintaining Spark applications.
  • Deep understanding of file formats: Parquet, Delta Lake, OTFs.
  • Proficiency in building CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or ArgoCD).
  • Solid knowledge of unit testing & test automation frameworks.
  • Good to Have:
  • Familiarity with Docker/Kubernetes for containerization.
  • Hands-on with IaC tools (Terraform, CDK, or CloudFormation).
  • Exposure to observability systems (Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana).
