About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Risk Specialist to join our FCSO team as a Team Lead. This role will involve overseeing risk management processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and driving business growth while maintaining a strong focus on ethics and conduct.

The successful candidate will have excellent analytical and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. They will also possess a deep understanding of risk management principles, with experience in AML, sanctions, and client due diligence.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement effective risk management strategies to mitigate financial crime risks.
  2. Conduct thorough analysis of complex data sets to identify potential risks and trends.
  3. Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and maintain policies and procedures that ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  4. Provide training and guidance to team members to enhance their knowledge and skills in risk management.
  5. Stay up-to-date with industry developments and emerging risks, providing recommendations for process improvements and enhancements.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A degree in a relevant field such as business, finance, or economics.
  • Proven experience in risk management, with a focus on AML, sanctions, and client due diligence.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Ability to think critically and solve complex problems.
