Senior Backend Software Engineer

Job Description


We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Backend Software Engineer to join our team. As a key member of the engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining large-scale backend systems.


Required Skills and Qualifications:


  • Education & Experience:
  • - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
  • - 5+ years of hands-on software engineering experience in Java/J2EE, Python, or Go
  • Technical Skills:
  • - Deep expertise in building and maintaining large-scale backend systems or consumer-facing web applications
  • - Proficiency with cloud services, APIs, and relational/noSQL databases to build secure, scalable, and high-performance applications
  • - Solid foundation in Test Driven Development (TDD), unit/integration testing, and CI/CD best practices
  • - Familiarity with microservices architecture, RESTful services, and distributed system design
  • AI-Native Mindset (Preferred):
  • - Basic understanding of AI and ML concepts (e.g., model prompting, inference, AutoML)
  • - Familiarity with data pipelines, metrics, and evaluation practices for AI integration
  • - Awareness of AI-native engineering principles and ability to apply them during development
  • - Interest in collaborating with AI experts to embed intelligent features into production applications
  • Soft Skills:
  • - Strong problem-solving and analytical mindset
  • - Excellent communication and collaboration skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • - Growth-oriented mindset; eagerness to learn, teach, and mentor within the team
